Accreditation
Casa de Corazón is both a Statewide and Nationally Accredited Child Care Center
Casa de Corazón has proudly joined the ranks of the top early learning programs across the United States by earning accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and 4-star Parent Aware Accreditation. Accredited child care centers represent excellence in early childhood education.
What is NAEYC Accreditation?
NAEYC is the world’s largest and foremost professional organization promoting high-quality learning for children from birth through age eight. Their vision is for all young children to thrive and learn in a society dedicated to ensuring that they reach their full potential.
NAEYC Accreditation is considered the gold standard for early childhood programs and care centers across the country. Applicants go through a rigorous and transformative quality-improvement program to elevate their level of excellence in care and education and earn their rank as accredited child care centers. Families consistently look for this accreditation as an assurance that the center can provide quality care for their children.
Parent Aware Accreditation
In addition to our nationally recognized NAEYC rating, we are proud to announce that we have earned a 4 Stars Parent Aware Rating! This is the highest possible rating by Minnesota’s designated tool designed to celebrate and support the strengths of child care and early education programs.
Why is Accreditation Important?
Casa de Corazón is in the top 8% of all preschools and other early childhood programs throughout the nation and marks us as a leader in the national effort to invest in high-quality early childhood education. Our 4 star rated programs go above and beyond licensing requirements to support school readiness in order to meet the highest quality standards in the state.
How do Day Care Centers Become NAEYC and Parent Aware Accredited?
To earn NAEYC Accreditation, Casa de Corazón went through an extensive self-study process, measuring our program and services against the 10 research-based standards of the NAEYC Early Childhood Program and more than 400 related accreditation criteria.
Parent Aware is led by the Minnesota Department of Human Services in collaboration with the Minnesota Office of Early Learning. The program offers ratings from 1 to 4 stars based on competencies in health and well-being, teacher training, child assessment and family relationships.
Dedication to Quality
NAEYC and Parent Aware Accreditation is the next step in the continual achievement of our mission to build the best day care environment for your children to learn and grow. We are always striving to raise the bar in our offerings, from our highly trained staff to our fresh, local organic foods. It’s our ongoing commitment to you and your children.
