Once you sign your Franchise Agreement a designated Opening Specialist will work with you during the opening phase. Your Opening Specialist will provide you with the Casa de Corazón Pre-Opening Guide and is there for you every step of the way!
Site selection and lease negotiations are very important parts of the opening process. Once you sign your franchise agreement and have financing in place, our real estate team will complete an in-depth analysis on all the available real estate in the market which meets our site criteria.
Once we have identified several great locations our team will make a site visit to your market to evaluate these locations personally.
After we mutually identify the best locations, we will submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) on your behalf addressing all the main business points that are required for the business. Depending on the market and the number of locations we identify as great opportunities we may choose to submit multiple LOIs.
Once we determine the best option and the main deal points have been negotiated, your attorney will finalize the lease negotiations with the landlord based on the LOI and your attorney’s recommendations.
Each franchise owner has a dedicated project manager assigned to their opening. The Casa project manager will work closely with the architect, contractor, and you to ensure your location is opened in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
To have a beautiful location and minimize speed bumps during the construction process, we work with a preferred architect who is familiar with developing blueprints based on experience and the Casa de Corazón construction manual.
While you are attending training sessions, our project manager will be communicating with the contractor on site and the chosen construction company to ensure the project is staying on track.
Prior to opening your Casa, all owners and directors will attend a 10-day training program at one or more of the corporate training facilities. The training program covers every aspect of each department in a Casa. This is a hands-on training program to ensure you and your management team know every aspect of the operations.
Upon opening your location, we will send a Casa de Corazón trainer to your location for a few days to ensure your franchise starts out on the right foot.We also provide additional training if needed after the opening of your location.
Casa believes great support is key to our franchise owners’ success. Our support team is composed of hand-selected people who have worked at Casa for several years.
Each franchise owner is fully supported by our marketing department. Every franchise owner has its own Instagram account to manage and post location-specific events and communication.
Casa de Corazón corporate manages the company’s Facebook, Twitter, Vimeo and LinkedIn accounts to control the national brand message and to promote your location for you. In addition, we also manage the corporate Instagram account delivering the brand message.
