1K For Kids is an annual event hosted by Casa de Corazón® that brings together families, staff, and community partners to support children’s education, healthcare, and housing. Through this event, we strengthen global connections and create meaningful impact beyond our schools—uniting our community in compassion and purpose. Join us in making a difference!

1K For Kids 2026

In 2026, 1K For Kids is bigger than ever, with four walk locations across Minnesota and Wisconsin coming together for a shared purpose. This year we are supporting NPH Peru, an organization that provides vulnerable children in Peru with housing, education, healthcare, and lifelong support.

Under the theme “Tradition Woven Into Every Detail,” this year’s event celebrates the culture and community that surround the children served by NPH Peru. Together, we walk, donate, and help create brighter futures for the children in their care.

For tax deductions, NPH USA is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, Federal Tax ID #65-1229309. Since its founding in 1954, NPH has helped tens of thousands of children overcome poverty and become leaders in their own communities.
