Your Neighborhood Day Care
Casa de Corazón® takes pride in being the child care center that communities, parents and businesses can rely on. We partner with socially responsible community organizations like Seward Co-op and Target, working to create the best possible environment for our little learners. From organic, locally sourced food from Seward Co-op to the annual Trike-a-thon for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, we work to create experiences that teach kindness, inclusion, and acceptance.
Are you looking to partner with one of the most community involved day cares in the Minneapolis and greater Twin Cities area? If you are a local business owner serving any of the communities in which we are located, contact us today to learn more about becoming one of our community partners!
MN Childcare Health Consultants has a certified nurse come to our facilities each month to do a consultation on best practices for the health, care, and safety of our enrolled children. They teach us things like the safe handling of breastmilk and helpful sanitation tips. They also check our playground safety, hand-washing, and diaper-changing procedures, among many other things, throughout each year.
Together with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Casa de Corazón hosts an annual fundraiser, the Trike-a-thon, which not only teaches our patrons bike safety, but also raises money and awareness for a fantastic cause. We proudly match all donations made, raising an average of $8,000 per year!
In an effort to help rebuild communities in Peru after the natural disasters, we named TECHO the recipient of our 2017 1K for Kids fundraising effort. TECHO is a youth led non-profit organization located in Latin America & the Caribbean. Through the collaboration between families living in extreme poverty and youth volunteers, TECHO seeks to overcome poverty in slums.
